For more than two decades, Dr. Tehve-Swallow has been dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care for small animals. A 2003 graduate of the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine, she has spent the past 23 years helping pets live healthier, happier lives while building lasting relationships with the families who love them.

Originally from Freehold, New Jersey, Dr. Tehve-Swallow has enjoyed spending summers in Maine for over 20 years and has been visiting the beautiful island of Vinalhaven for more than a decade. Her connection to the community and love for the area inspired her to bring trusted, personalized veterinary care to local pet owners.

When she's not caring for patients, Dr. Tehve-Swallow enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children, and their own furry family, which includes three dogs and two cats. As both a veterinarian and a pet owner, she understands the special bond between people and their animals and treats every patient with the same kindness, respect, and attention she would want for her own pets.
